home schooling and smaller schools.
I am a strong believer in home schooling especially in today world.
It seems California is trying to pass a law that all home schooling parents must have 4 years of schooling in college and have a teaching certificate. This to me is an invasion of our homes and families. They seem to forget that we are the parents and the children belong to us not the gov. It is proven that our home schooled children are better educated than the public school children and we pay more to educate them in our public schools.
Secondly I am a strong believer that towns should be able to educate their children in there towns or school of their choice. Why because large school are not a healthy situation. We are a small State and we need to have more control of our childrens education and not the government. Other states have small schools and it is working well. Teachers with low student ratio and more time to spend with each student. That is a huge avantage. Large schools come with more problems just watch the news.
People who want to send their children to a large school should look into other states.
Then there is the transportation cost of sending them out to other towns. Plus the time they spend on the road going to and from. I went to large schools and small schools and I can tell you that the smaller schools are much better than the larger ones.
All students should be able to have a free education but are we will to take our money and invest it into our children. Would you be willing to live modestly so that all our children in America could have free education.
Would our professors work for a wage to help make this possible I highly think not and they spend less time at the work place. We must not forget the Chancellor's who by the way makes more than the Governor does and administrators as well would they be willing.
We need to get Government our of our Schools.
